2 slices provolone or Swiss cheese (optional)

1–2 tsp Dijon mustard or mayonnaise
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Directions
- Lightly toast the bread if desired.
- Spread mustard or mayonnaise on one or both slices of bread.
- Layer salami, cheese, lettuce, and tomato over the bottom slice.
