4 cups cabbage, chopped
1 small onion, sliced
1 green chili, chopped
1 tbsp oil or butter
½ tsp cumin seeds
Salt to taste
2 cups water
Fresh coriander for garnish
Directions
- Heat oil in a pot and add cumin seeds. Let them splutter.
- Add sliced onion and green chili. Sauté for 2–3 minutes.
- Add chopped cabbage and salt. Mix well.
- Pour in water and bring to a boil.
- Cover and cook for 10–12 minutes until cabbage is soft.
- Garnish with coriander and serve hot.
