Ingredients

  • 1 cup thick yogurt (curd)

  • ½ cup chilled water or milk

  • 2 tbsp sugar (for sweet lassi) or ½ tsp salt (for salted lassi)

  • 2–3 ice cubes

  • Pinch of cardamom powder (optional for sweet lassi)

  • Roasted cumin powder (optional for salted lassi)

Directions

  • Add yogurt, water or milk, and sugar or salt into a blender.
  • Blend until smooth and frothy.
  • Add ice cubes and blend briefly again.
  • Pour into glasses.
  • Sprinkle cardamom powder or roasted cumin powder as desired.
