500 g boneless chicken, cut into cubes
1 cup thick yogurt
2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
1 tsp red chili powder
½ tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp oil
Salt to taste
For Garnish
Lemon wedges
Onion rings
Fresh coriander
Mint chutney
Directions
- In a bowl, mix yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, chili powder, turmeric, garam masala, cumin powder, lemon juice, oil, and salt.
- Add chicken cubes and coat well with the marinade.
- Cover and marinate for at least 1 hour.
- Thread the chicken onto skewers.
- Grill in an oven at 200°C (400°F) for 15–20 minutes or until cooked and slightly charred.
- Turn once during cooking for even roasting.
- Remove and garnish with lemon wedges and onions.
- Serve hot with mint chutney.
