Ingredients

  • 6 hotdogs

  • 6 slices of cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or American)

  • 1 package of crescent roll dough or puff pastry

  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds or poppy seeds (optional)

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder or Italian seasoning (optional)

  • Ketchup, mustard, or ranch dressing for dipping

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Roll out the crescent dough or puff pastry and cut it into 6 equal strips.
  • Place a slice of cheese on each strip.
  • Wrap each hotdog with a strip of dough, sealing the edges lightly.
  • Brush the roll-ups with egg wash to give them a golden finish.
