½ cup ghee
½ cup sugar
1½ cups water
Directions
- Heat water in a pan and dissolve sugar in it. Keep warm.
- Heat ghee in a heavy-bottom pan on low flame.
- Add wheat flour and roast continuously until golden brown and aromatic.
- Slowly add warm sugar water while stirring carefully to avoid lumps.
- Cook while stirring until mixture thickens and leaves the sides of the pan.
