  • 10 almonds, sliced

  • 10 pistachios, chopped

  • 2 tbsp raisins

  • 3 tbsp sugar (adjust to taste)

  • 2 tbsp ghee

  • ½ tsp cardamom powder

  • Few saffron strands (optional)

Directions

  • Heat ghee in a pan and lightly roast vermicelli until golden.
  • In another pot, bring milk to a gentle boil.
  • Add roasted vermicelli and cook for 8–10 minutes.
  • Stir in chopped dates, almonds, pistachios, and raisins.
  • Add sugar, cardamom powder, and saffron.
  • Simmer for another 5–7 minutes until slightly thick.
