Ingredients

  • 500 g boneless chicken, cut into cubes

  • 1 cup thick yogurt

  • 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste

  • 1 tsp red chili powder

  • ½ tsp turmeric powder

  • 1 tsp garam masala

  • 1 tsp cumin powder

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • 2 tbsp oil

  • Salt to taste

  • For Garnish

  • Lemon wedges

  • Onion rings

  • Fresh coriander

  • Mint chutney

Directions

  • In a bowl, mix yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, chili powder, turmeric, garam masala, cumin powder, lemon juice, oil, and salt.
  • Add chicken cubes and coat well with the marinade.
  • Cover and marinate for at least 1 hour.
  • Thread the chicken onto skewers.
  • Grill in an oven at 200°C (400°F) for 15–20 minutes or until cooked and slightly charred.
  • Turn once during cooking for even roasting.
  • Remove and garnish with lemon wedges and onions.
  • Serve hot with mint chutney.
