500g minced beef
1 onion, chopped
1 carrot, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp tomato paste
1 cup beef stock
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp oil
Salt and pepper to taste
3 cups mashed potatoes
2 tbsp butter
¼ cup milk
Directions
- Heat oil in a pan and sauté onions and garlic until soft.
- Add minced beef and cook until browned.
- Add carrots, tomato paste, stock, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10–15 minutes until thick.
- Transfer the meat mixture to a baking dish.
- Spread mashed potatoes evenly on top.
- Bake at 200°C (400°F) for 20–25 minutes until the top is golden.
- Let it cool slightly and serve warm.
