  • For the Cake

  • 1½ cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 cup sugar

  • ½ cup butter, softened

  • 2 eggs

  • ½ cup milk

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1½ tsp baking powder

  • ¼ tsp salt

  • For the Frosting

  • 1 cup powdered sugar

  • ¼ cup butter

  • 2 tbsp milk

  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

  • Decorations

  • Chocolate eggs or candies

  • Sprinkles or shredded coconut

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  • Stir in milk and vanilla extract.
  • In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Gradually combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture.
  • Pour batter into a greased cake pan.
  • Bake for 25–30 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • Let the cake cool completely before frosting.
  • Spread frosting over the cake and decorate with chocolate eggs or sprinkles.
