Ingredients

  • 500g chicken (boneless or with bone)

  • 2 tbsp peanut butter

  • 1 onion, finely chopped

  • 2 tomatoes, pureed

  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste

  • 2 tbsp oil

  • ½ tsp turmeric powder

  • 1 tsp red chili powder

  • 1 tsp coriander powder

  • ½ tsp garam masala

  • Salt to taste

  • 1 cup water

  • Fresh coriander for garnish

Directions

  • Heat oil in a pan and sauté chopped onions until golden.
  • Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for 1 minute.
  • Add tomato puree and cook until oil separates.
  • Add turmeric, chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well.
  • Add chicken pieces and cook for 5–7 minutes.
  • Add peanut butter and water. Stir until the gravy becomes smooth.
  • Cover and cook for 15–20 minutes until chicken is tender.
  • Sprinkle garam masala and garnish with coriander. Serve hot.

Notes

  • Serve with steamed rice, naan, or chapati.
  • Store in refrigerator up to 2 days.
